SHK Industries dips

SHK Hong Kong Industries has announced a 19.2 per cent fall in net profits to $451.43 million from $558.48 million for the year to December 31, 1995.

Operating profit fell 73.8 per cent to $18.82 million from $71.8 million while turnover fell 52.8 per cent to $41.79 million from $88.59 million.

Exceptional gains generated from disposal of long-term investments were $387.34 million, against the gains of $496 million in the previous year.
