Bokhary findings 'extensive'
MR Justice Bokhary's preliminary report to the Governor on the Lan Kwai Fong tragedy would probably extend to as much as 50 pages, inquiry sources said yesterday.
There was a great deal Mr Justice Bokhary was covering in the report, which he will deliver to Government House on Sunday or Monday, despite only having two weeks to complete it, sources said.
Mr Justice Bokhary has to give the Governor preliminary findings in time for Lunar New Year celebrations, but has not set a time frame in which to complete a final report into the tragic deaths of 21 people on New Year's Eve.
''Everything which the judge has to say at this stage will be said in his report, which the Governor has already said will be made public,'' an inquiry spokesman said.
''Therefore, the judge does not propose to make any public statement and will allow his report to speak for him.''
