Warning on beef origin

Wholesalers, retailers, hotel and restaurateurs were advised by the Government to indicate the origin of frozen beef before offering it for sale, in the wake of the mad cow disease scare in the United Kingdom. Only two to three per cent of frozen beef is imported from the UK.
