On Sunday, March 17, at about 1.30pm, I approached the 219X bus terminus in Laguna City. The bus was just pulling out, and I signalled to the driver.
Instead of stopping to let me on, the bus driver waved me away and carried on out of the terminus. She stopped for traffic at the road, ignoring me as I walked up to the door and motioned to her.
I walked quickly and a minute later she found me waiting for her at the next stop, somewhat breathless, but quite capable of telling her: 'Thanks a lot for the courtesy.' While Citybus is stealing routes left and right from China Motor Bus because of lousy customer service, shouldn't Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) watch its step and do something about the few bad apples in its cart? If KMB intends to respond, to say sorry and that something will be done about it, fine. If it's going to make excuses about company policy not to stop after pulling out of the terminus, don't bother - it would just be added irritation. This is about attitude.
