In South Kowloon Court, Detective Constable Chiu Sit-woo, 34, of Tsim Sha Tsui Divisional Investigation Team, denied the offences and an additional indecent assault charge.

Prosecutor Leo Chan Sze-shing told the court Chiu assaulted the woman while investigating her involvement in a series of shop thefts on September 28 last year.

The woman, a heroin addict, gave evidence that Chiu sat beside her in the back seat of an unmarked police sedan that night and touched her breasts two to three times with his arms while moving his body.

She said the second incident occurred later that night outside her home in Sam Shing Estate in Tuen Mun after Chiu and a police sergeant, who drove the car, searched her family's flat.

The court heard Chiu pinched the woman's backside as she was getting into the car to return to Tsim Sha Tsui station to pay bail.
