Jardine Shipping sells US agency

1-MIN READ1-MIN

Norton Lilly International has extended its United States network to Hawaii through the acquisition of TheoDavies Marine Agencies in Honolulu - part of Jardine Shipping Agencies' network.

The sale will allow Jardine Shipping to focus its attention on the Asia-Pacific region, where its network covers 10 countries and territories. Norton Lilly, meanwhile, will provide agency services in Hawaii as part of its extensive US operations.

TheoDavies Marine - a unit of Theo H. Davies & Co founded in Hawaii in 1845 and which grew into one of Hawaii's 'Big Five' companies - has major interests in industrial equipment, car dealerships and food services.
