In one of their best performances, the Broncos thrashed the hapless Steelers 54-4.

After seeing their Super League dream vanish before their eyes and then forfeiting their first-round match, the Broncos finally returned to the field with a rusty win over Western Suburbs last week.

But against the tackle-shy Steelers, the Broncos put it all together, scoring 10 tries to one in a commanding display.

'It's great to get our minds back on football and out of the courtroom,' said Broncos skipper and Man-of-the-Match Alan Langer.
