Although the karate king died of a brain haemorrhage in Hong Kong 24 years ago, Hollywood moguls are working on a new martial arts blockbuster starring Lee as the fast-moving, high-kicking hero.

For just $480 million, the science gurus of Hollywood are compiling the movie by scanning into a computer images of Lee taken from every angle imaginable.

All his mannerisms and gestures are being fed into the data bank, the shots will then be spliced together and hey presto! a walking, talking, leaping Lee.

American techno-wizard Scott Billups has his eye on other late stars, but action man Bruce Lee is his testing ground and launch pad.
