Invesco Asia's Thai-Asia Fund has reported its loss attributable to shareholders for last year fell to US$2.84 million from $26.67 million a year earlier.
Turnover fell to $21.2 million from $29.23 million and loss per share stood at $0.06 compared with $0.53. Net asset value per share fell to $1.79 from $1.85. A special dividend of $0.39 was declared.
The Thai Asset Fund, meanwhile, said profit attributable to shareholders for the year ended December 31 rose to $564,754 from the previous year's $449,428. Earnings per share rose to $0.11 from $0.09. A special dividend of $4.32 per share was declared.
A fund was created to replace the Thai-Asia Fund and Thai Asset Fund in March and was cleared by the Securities and Futures Commission.
It had been the object of a fierce tussle between rebel shareholders led by Regent Fund Management, which sought to wind up the fund.
