Property sale lifts Huey Tai

HUEY Tai International has reported a sharp rise in half-year profit to $62.7 million from $6.8 million, thanks to the sale of a property that contributed $57 million to operating profit.

Turnover fell 13.3 per cent to $508.1 million in the period ended September. A recommended one cent interim dividend will be paid in scrip, with a cash option.
