BANK of America has named Russell Notides as senior vice-president. Based in Hong Kong, Mr Notides is head of corporate finance for Asia with responsibility for expanding the bank's advisory activities to provide clients with access to capital-raising and capital markets. Mr Notides joined the bank in 1992 as a managing director in the Corporate Banking High Technology Group in San Francisco, where he managed relationships with clients in the technology field.Raymond Chang has been appointed managing director in the Corporate Finance Group. Mr Chang will be based in Singapore and be responsible for developing strategic alliances with corporate clients in Southeast Asia. Mr Chang has 15 years of investment banking and consulting experience, including eight years in a variety of corporate finance positions with JP Morgan in Australia, the United States and Asia.Terrence Francis has been named senior vice-president of Bank of America. Mr Francis is country manager for the bank's business in Australia and New Zealand which includes commercial banking, trade finance, treasury, corporate finance and capital markets. Mr Francis has 18 years of banking experience, the last seven with the bank in Australia. He was previously responsible for the bank's corporate business in Australia. Other assignments have included a number of corporate banking positions, including senior credit officer and head of the bank's Melbourne office.Victor Ng and Fanny Ng have been named senior vice-presidents of Bank of America. Mr Ng, head of the Consumer Business Centre, will oversee its retail and mortgage loan businesses and overall administration of the Bank of America Tower branch. He joined the bank as an assistant vice-president in 1987, was promoted to vice-president six months later and to first vice-president in 1992. Ms Ng is manager of the bank's Central branch, responsible for overall operation and business activities. She joined Bank of America (Asia) in 1990 as vice-president and was promoted to first vice-president in 1993. The Fuji Bank, Hong Kong branch, has promoted Albert Fung to deputy general manager of the treasury settlement and administration department and H. Imai to assistant general manager of the newly established market risk management department. Wilco International Asia Pacific has named Jessie Pak as managing director of the Hong Kong office. Ms Pak has more than 14 years' experience in the securities industry. Stuart Manby has joined as sales and marketing director for Asia Pacific. Cecilia Tee has been named regional director of sales for Asia of Forte and Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts. She will be responsible for developing sales for all brands of Forte Hotels including Le Meridien. She has been with the company for more than six years.
