Dreams of stardom inspired two teenage girls to have sex with a bogus film-maker, a court heard yesterday.

  What started as a chance meeting in a shop spiralled into sordid sex sessions in a football playground, after Wong Kwong-hung promised the girls they would be famous.

  Unemployed Wong admitted four charges of unlawful intercourse with a girl under 16.

  On their first encounter in November last year, 41-year-old Wong asked the younger girl, 14, if she had ever appeared in advertisements.

  After chatting for a while, he took her telephone number and that of her 15-year-old friend. He did not give his own name.

  The month after, a man called 'Vico' rang the 14-year-old, and arranged for her to meet the defendant, Wong.

  He met the girl at her home, where he said he wanted her to appear in a film.

  But the price of fame started when she was asked to remove her clothes so he could take measurements.

  The defendant also told her he had to test her reaction - after which they had sex, the court heard.

  'Vico' called the 14-year-old again in January this year, and said that the defendant had lost the measurements and wanted to see her again.

  They met at a football playground at Pak Kong Village, Sai Kung, where they had sex again.

  A month later, 'Vico' called to say Wong wanted to meet the girl and her 15-year-old friend to take photographs.

  He drove the girls to woodlands at Wu Lei Tau, Pak Kong Village. After taking photographs for half an hour, Wong had sex with the 15-year-old while the younger girl watched.

  'Vico' later called the 14-year-old and said the defendant wanted to show the photographs to an actor. They went back to the football playground, where she had sex with the defendant.

  The sex sessions came to an end when the 14-year-old told her cousin about the incidents. Wong later admitted he was 'Vico'.

  Sentencing was adjourned for reports by deputy judge Henry Brazier.
