SCMP Reporter

A police constable was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital suffering from leg injuries after he was run down by a suspected stolen car near On Ting Estate, Tuen Mun, at about 3.30 yesterday morning. The officer fired a shot at the car, which was later found burned out on Castle Peak Road near Yuen Long. Police are still trying to trace the two suspects. The officer was discharged after treatment.
