Sexy ads prove to be smash hit

Smash-and-grab thefts of swimwear advertising posters featuring American model Tyra Banks have forced Belgian clothing retailer Hennes & Mauritz to organise a free handout of 500 of the larger-than-life pictures.

Barely had the campaign, featuring Banks celebrating the 50th anniversary of the bikini, begun last week than fans began smashing the glass display cases at bus stops to get their hands on the poster.

'It has been a problem, but not as bad as last year when we had Pamela Anderson in a swimsuit,' a spokesman said.
