40 police on rack for snaps in nude
Up to 40 constables who appeared in nude or semi-nude photographs face disciplinary action for bringing the force into disrepute.
Another 20 constables identified from among the 5,000 pictures seized from a businessman's Happy Valley flat last year are believed to be innocent.
Sources said pictures of the 20 fully-dressed officers were taken at social functions, possibly without the subjects' knowledge.
Police are seeking legal advice on the disciplinary action to be taken.
Most of the officers involved are from uniformed sections, including traffic and police tactical unit officers.
It is understood none of the officers was paid to pose, although they were told the pictures would be shown to wealthy women and they might be able to earn money as gigolos.
