Jardine Pacific says it has been appointed the exclusive dealer for Caterpillar earth-moving and construction equipment in China's Fujian, Jiangxi and Hunan provinces.

The new territory covered some 136 million people and opportunities such as airport and highway construction projects, railway construction and electric-power generation, the company said yesterday.
