Send drama poster for international competition
If you have designed a poster for any theatre event over the past four years, you might like to submit it for an international theatre poster competition, ITO 96, being held in Germany.
The competition, which is being organised by the International Theatre Osnabruck (ITO), welcomes theatre posters from all over the world published in 1992-1996.
The posters can cover any kind of event relating to today's international theatre scene.
ITO 96 will comprise three events: the competition, an exhibition of the 150 best posters, and a symposium on 'visual communication and theatre'.
The competition is open internationally to all persons or groups, and the posters should have been designed and printed after January 1, 1992.
The theatre posters can relate to plays, operas, operettas, musicals, ballets, dance theatre, cabaret, revue, puppet theatre, experiments using film or dramatic scenes and also general theatre advertising.
The posters should be at least 42 x 60 cm in size. Applicants should send two copies of each poster (which should not be framed or glued to any other material), together with a completed entry form, and preferably with a photograph of the designer.
