Gammon bubbling over soft drink plant award

Gammon Construction has been awarded the construction management contract for a mainland soft drink plant as part of its plan to go regional.

The 38,000 square metre Swire Beverages (Dongguan) soft drink plant will be completed later this year.

Managing director Martin Hadaway said China was a key element in Gammon's on-going regionalism programme.

The company has secured a number of contracts in China recently, including the provision of construction management for the San Miguel Brewery in Baoding and construction of the 80-storey Sky Central Plaza in Tien Ho, Guangzhou - soon to be the tallest office building in China.
