The Bar Association plans to visit Beijing next month to air its views on the provisional legislature.

It will be the first visit to Beijing for Gladys Li QC, chairman of the association and daughter of the Preparatory Committee vice-chairman Simon Li Fook-sean.
She has been critical of the Chinese side and holds different views to her father on many outstanding issues including the Bill of Rights.
A Bar Association spokesman said most members would attend. .
The Bar is still awaiting confirmation from Xinhua (the New China News Agency) on the date and officials whom it will be meeting. Margaret Ng, legislator representing the legal sector, said she hoped the group conveyed the message that the provisional legislature lacked legal basis.
