Driver smoked

IF it isn't bad enough that members of the general public openly ignore no smoking regulations on public transport, what hope does Hongkong have when employees of transport companies ignore them as well.

I regularly travel by tram from Causeway Bay to Happy Valley, and one morning this month the tram driver lit up a cigarette.

What action does the Hongkong Tramways company take to ensure that not only the public, but also drivers, do not smoke on the trams? OLIVER YOUNG Tai Tam
