Placing to raise $18m

AWT World Transport Holdings says it will raise a net $18 million from a private placing to independent investors of 27.4 million new shares at 68 cents each.

The placing shares represent 10.7 per cent of enlarged capital and the price is a 4.23 per cent discount to the shares' last close of 71 cents.
