He scored four goals against Hong Kong league champions Instant-Dict in AC Milan's 7-0 victory in the Lotto Super Challenge Cup last week . . . but nobody had heard of him before. Tomas Locatelli, 21, is considered Italy's young future prospect in the making after his performance before a full house of 40,000 at the Hong Kong Stadium, a performance that even eclipsed Italy's most renowned player, Roberto Baggio, who scored just one goal. Locatelli has had few opportunities to prove himself in Serie A as he has been serving in the Italian army. But AC Milan coach Fabio Capello has a high opinion of the slightly-built striker, saying that once he completes his national duties in a year's time he is certain to make a name for himself. 'Once he's out of the army, I think a lot of people will be interested in him. He's a young, quick, talented striker and he showed it tonight,' said Capello. 'I'm sure in a few years' time he will be a big soccer star.' The biggest crowd this season enjoyed a first-hand look at Capello's young star. Locatelli came on as a second-half substitute, and almost immediately made an impact when he put Milan 3-0 in front in the 50th minute, after Nicola Caccia and Baggio had given his side a 2-0 first-half lead. Baggio made the move down the middle with a blinding run, finding Locatelli on his right hand side. Locatelli, unmarked, slotted home. Locatelli made it 4-0 in the 66th minute with a brilliant run down the right hand flank. He drew Instant-Dict goalkeeper Mick Leonard out of his line, played a dummy with his right foot and then scored with his left. Baggio set up the fifth goal for AC Milan after he unselfishly played a short pass to Locatelli who tapped home into an empty goal. Locatelli then scored his fourth of the night with a powerful shot in the 81st minute. Mid-fielder Ricardo Maspero rubbed salt into Instant-Dict's wound by scoring the seventh a minute before time as the Italian Serie A champions completed their demolition job on Hong Kong's top side. Had AC Milan played with their full team instead of their second string ones, they would have won by a larger margin than 7-0.
