Who would have thought 20 years ago, that Russia would be holding free elections to choose its leaders?   It all makes me think that in another 20 years, China may finally be free of its geriatric dictators to become a place where individuals will have a say in running their country's affairs. I like to think this is possible, but I may be dreaming.

  As social scientist Francis Fukuyama has expounded, the End of History is relentlessly evolving on this planet and, though great obstacles will intrude, human beings will some day achieve the freedom they desire. Let's hope that day dawns soon.
