The body of a young salesman who went missing while swimming in Repulse Bay with friends on Saturday was found by divers yesterday.
The parents of 24-year-old Chan Wai-wah went to Repulse Bay to pray that the body would be found intact. They burst into tears when Fire Services Department divers retrieved it from the bottom of the bay near an offshore raft close to anti-shark nets.
Chan, who was also an auxiliary police officer, had five brothers and sisters and lived with his parents at Li Cheng Uk Estate, Shamshuipo.
