I do not know how the seat pricing for the Coliseum is worked out but it needs to be looked at again. With six friends I went to watch the David Copperfield show, each of us paying $590 for the privilege. For that price we were stuck eight rows from the back and at an acute angle to the stage which meant Mr Copperfield could have been swinging from a six-inch rope and we would have been none the wiser. I didn't expect to be in line to fly with Mr Copperfield for $590 but I did expect to have some idea of what he was doing. The purpose of our trip was to take two children on a birthday treat, but they left disappointed. For the same price we could have had the Royal Box at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane with champagne and salmon sandwiches. Could someone from the Coliseum please justify this expense for some of the worst seats in the house and in future could the box office let people know they are paying $590 for seats that not even Mr Copperfield could fly to the stage from.
