A salesman bludgeoned and dismembered his girlfriend after she threatened to cut off his genitals with a paper cutter, the High Court heard.
When May Chan Lai-yee learned that Ringo Lam Wai-hang had spent the night with another woman she flew into a jealous rage, the killer testified yesterday.
As they lay naked in bed, Chan told her lover that she herself had spent the previous night having fabulous sex with an old flame.
The 26-year-old salesgirl told Lam that her other boyfriend was far better in bed, the court was told.
'Her remarks were harrowing to my ears,' he said. 'May said, 'He is the only one who can satisfy me'. I was really mad. I thought everything she had done in the past was just a charade.' Hoping to hurt her, Lam declared he had gone to bed with his other girlfriend the night before.
'I said, 'Right now I'm leaving you! I'm going to have sex with her'.' But Chan had other plans, the court heard.
Lam claimed she grabbed his genitals with one hand and used the other to hold a paper cutter to his throat.
