Seating plan available

On behalf of the Australasian Entertainment Corporation Ltd (AEC), I would like to respond to James Wright's letter headlined, 'Children left disappointed' (South China Morning Post, July 3).

As the organiser of the David Copperfield event in Hong Kong we submitted detailed plans of the seating arrangements to Urbtix - the government department which handles the ticketing for events in the Hong Kong Coliseum.

Once the seating arrangement is approved, copies of the seating arrangement are distributed by Urbtix at each of its outlets for the general public's reference. The seating plan clearly identifies the different price categories. Members of the public can use this plan to request a particular seat or be allocated the next best seat via the Urbtix computer system.

In order to avoid similar situations arising in the future AEC, as a responsible organisation, would urge members of the public to take advantage of the opportunity to view the seating plans so they are left in no doubt where their seats are.
