Hong Kong Convenience Stores, a wholly-owned subsidiary under Dairy Farm International Holdings, is opening the first two 7-Eleven convenience stores in Guangzhou today. It plans to open 100 stores in the city within three years. The stores will be operated by Guangzhou Convenience Stores, a co-operative joint venture between Hong Kong Convenience Stores and Guangzhou Foreign Economic Enterprises & Trading Company. The company said it would open 10 stores in Guangzhou by the end of this year. To date, it has opened 22 7-Eleven stores in Shenzhen.
