It was another tough day at the office for civil service chief Lam Woon-kwong. After spending the week maintaining there was nothing untoward in the shock retirement of immigration director Laurence Leung Ming-yin, he arrived at the Legislative Council yesterday to face another barrage of accusations. However, Legco may yet win the day . . . members are now considering calling a public inquiry.
