China's Northeast Non-ferrous Metals Group produced 160,771 tonnes of non-ferrous metals in the first five months, the International Business Daily says. The group, set up in July 1995, also produced 254,902 tonnes of chemical products and earned $57.16 million in foreign exchange in the first five months of this year, it said. In January-May, the gross value of its industrial output was 2.015 billion yuan (about HK$1.873 billion), while sales value totalled 2.095 billion yuan and sales income was 2.068 billion yuan, it said.
