I am concerned about hygiene rules which are not being implemented in Kowloon Park Swimming Pool.

   In the past Urban Services Department (USD) pool lifeguards ordered people who were not properly attired out of the water immediately.

  The strict implementation of this rule ensured that there was no contamination of the pool.

  A week past Sunday when I went to the pool, I was completely flabbergasted by what swimming suits the patrons put on. The lifeguards seemed to turn a blind eye to those swimmers with T-shirts, shorts, or towels in the water.

  I look forward to an explanation from a USD official.
