Colin Pascoe rejoins his former Welsh international teammate Glyn Hodges in the territory four years after losing contact. Although playing with opposing clubs, Golden's new forward Pascoe will eventually be contacting Hodges after last seeing him play for Wales during a friendly against Brazil in Cardiff in 1992 which Wales won 1-0. 'It's nice to come here and find out that you know somebody else. I haven't seen Glyn [Hodges] since we last played together for Wales four years ago, but I'll definitely be seeing him soon. We're good mates but unfortunately we are playing for opposing sides,' said Pascoe, who is playing outside of Britain for the first time. The 31-year-old had stints with Sunderland and Swansea City before joining Blackpool in May where he scored three times. 'This is the first time I am playing overseas but I look forward to the new challenges ahead of me,' he said. Former Sing Tao defender Darren Jackson has joined Golden on a year's contract from Finnish First Division club MyPa 47. But by doing so, the 29-year-old Englishman turned down a chance to play in the European Cup Winners' Cup. 'I got a phone call from Golden three weeks ago and they said they were interested in me. I asked for permission to leave my club in Finland and now I'm here,' he said.
