Design students have marked the end of their technical training by winning awards and recognition at an exhibition.
About 200 graduates of the Lee Wai Lee Technical Institute of the Vocational Training Council showcased 1,000 pieces of work in the school auditorium.
About 30 of them were singled out for awards from private companies.
The works were by both part-time and full-time students who received either diplomas or certificates in design in the categories of visual communication, product, toy/jewellery, interior, three-dimensional and craft in window display.
One graduate, Law Ling-kit, won the regional interior category award - the Grohe Design Award - an international competition which includes Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong.
He was presented with a trip to Singapore to attend the prize giving ceremony and exhibition held there last month.
