Eleven non-profit making arts organisations will take part in the Urban Council's Artist-in-Residence Scheme by staging free educational activities at the UC Civic Centres and the Ko Shan Theatre. They are: Society of the Little Arts Ambassadors of Hong Kong (music), Theatre Ensemble (drama), Tomorrow Limited (dance), Asian People's Theatre Festival Society (multi-media), The Hong Kong Institute for Promotion of Chinese Culture (Chinese opera), Hua Xia Chinese Music Ensemble (music), Nice Chinese Opera Research Association (Chinese opera), Video Groupie (film), South China Industry Workers Union (film), Hong Kong Ballet Ltd (dance) and Prospects Theatre (drama).
