A TEENAGER who momentarily held the hand of a girl being raped was yesterday placed on two years' probation, banned from the streets between 11.30 pm and 7.30 am and instructed to listen to his parents. Lo Kit-shing, 16, and two others were earlier found guilty by a jury of the rape of a 16-year-old schoolgirl after she stormed out of a party on September 23 last year after a quarrel with her boyfriend. Although Lo only held the victim's hand when she began to struggle, the law provides for him also to be charged with rape. Psychiatrists and doctors testified that Lo had a history of conduct disorders and was vulnerable to outside influence. As well as the overnight curfew, Mr Justice Stock ordered that Lo attend psychiatric sessions and said he wanted to see a report from Lo's probation officer every six months.
