Internet site explains how to make weapons of terror
Learning how to make a pipe bomb like the one that exploded at the Atlanta Olympics may not be as easy as yelling around the office for advice. But it is close.
I logged on to the Internet and typed a few key words into a popular World Wide Web search engine.
It took me about two minutes to find 'The Terrorist's Handbook', a site originating in Bonn, Germany.
The site had basic diagrams and step-by-step procedures on how to build not just a pipe bomb, but 'everything from making a simple firecracker to a complicated scheme for detonating an insensitive high explosive, both of which are methods that could be utilised by perpetrators of terror'.
The text, said to be 'heavily' edited by Kloey Detect of Five O and B. S. of Hardbodies - pseudonyms, I presume - told me in bold capital letters to 'keep in mind that all explosives are dangerous and should never be made or used'.
But they must be kidding themselves if they believe this rudimentary guide to building explosives will only be used for the purpose of learning how to defuse that random pipe bomb in the family bathroom.
