Group's election proposal

THE Hongkong Affairs Society has submitted a proposal to the Governor, Mr Chris Patten, suggesting the 400-member election committee, which will pick 10 seats for the 1995 legislature should be returned by means of election in the territory's geographical constituencies. The political group suggested the elections should be based on the model set out in the Basic Law.
