A teenage girl was lured into having sex with a man who told her she was being stalked by ghosts, a court heard yesterday. But her less gullible friend had refused the offer to help get rid of demons and was raped, the Crown alleged. The two 14-year-old schoolgirls were introduced to Hon Shun-on by friends as they were going to a fast-food restaurant on August 24 last year, prosecutor John Necholas told the High Court. Hon, 20, and two other friends walked with the girls until one of them saw a police officer, the court heard. The men convinced the girls they had to hide from the police and took them into an apartment building. The group climbed up the stairs and when they found the door to the roof was locked they stopped on the top landing, the court heard. Hon allegedly told one of the girls he was a martial arts master and bragged he could see a ghost stalking her friend. He is said to have claimed the only way to chase the evil spirit away was for the girl to have sex with him on the staircase. The girl agreed and the construction worker had intercourse and oral sex with her, it was alleged. Hon then told the girl she had not satisfied him and the ghost was still lingering, the court heard. He said the only cure was for him to have sex with her friend, Mr Necholas said. But the other schoolgirl would not agree and Hon allegedly raped her. When the girls returned to their homes in the early hours of the morning they were grilled by their parents. One of the girls broke down and told her mother what had happened. Hon has denied having unlawful sex with girls under the age of 16 and that he raped one of the girls. The case continues before Deputy Judge Wesley Wong Wing-fai.
