Local mobile phone users' need to be reach out and touch someone has always been greater than most. But lately, they've taken it just a little too far. Now the Union Church has laid down the law following a raft of complaints over interruptions during a prayer session for the victims of the TWA crash. Apparently, a handful of people took the opportunity during the prayers to make and receive calls to someone more important. In its weekly bulletin the church was forced to ask the congregation not to turn on phones during the Sunday services or 'better still leave them at home altogether'. Divine intervention, at last.
