Hong Kong-listed Innovative International (Holdings) is to invest in an antenna production plant in Dongguan city, Guangdong province. A letter of intent for the US$15.6 million project was signed yesterday. Another firm, Texton (HK), will invest in a polyester-fibre production plant. The $30 million project will have an annual output of 10,000 tonnes. Both projects were announced yesterday at the opening of the five-day Guangdong Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation Fair. Officials said a number of foreign investors were preparing to commit to new investments and agreements would be signed in the next few days. A Thai investor was set to sign a letter of intent this week for a $30 million joint venture with the Chaozhou city government.
