Rejuvenated computer giant NCR, which is to be spun off from AT & T later this year, has reshuffled the management of its Asian operations. NCR Asia is now split into three geographical chunks - Greater China, Southeast Asia and Korea. The headquarters of the Greater China region, which includes the mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong, will be located in Beijing and operate under a newly appointed vice-president for the region, Peter Zee. Mr Zee has previous experience with NCR in the United States, Hong Kong, Canada and China. NCR Southeast Asia region stretches from India and Sri Lanka in the west to Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia in the south. It will have its base in Singapore. Victor Ang, previously managing director of NCR Asia, will take over as vice-president of NCR Southeast Asia. D W Choi has been appointed vice-president NCR Korea area, from being NCR Korea's country manager.
