Kwun Tong Technical Institute (KTTI) has set up a telephone hotline to help Form Five graduates who have just received their HKCEE results choose courses for the next academic year.
The KTTI has been receiving calls from Form Five graduates since Wednesday. Today is the last day of the hotline, so call 2727 9633 before 5 pm.
Department heads and teachers are answering the calls and giving information on course curricula, admission requirements and career prospects, as well as advising on study choices suited to their interests and qualifications.
The KTTI offers craft and technician level courses in: clothing technology; commercial studies; electronic engineering; mechanical engineering, and printing.
The Vocational Training Council's six other technical institutes are offering courses in: applied science; computing studies; construction; design; electrical engineering; hotel keeping and tourism studies; manufacturing engineering; marine engineering and fabrication; motor vehicle engineering, and textile industries.
