SCMP Reporter

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Hong Kong Polytechnic University are offering the territory's first in-house nursing course leading to a higher diploma.

  The course, designed to upgrade basic nursing education to tertiary level, has received 1,180 applications for 120 places. Successful applicants are allowed to class themselves as full-time students while still being employed by the hospital.

  Courses include biology, sociology, language and communication.



Nursing diploma
