Every Cathay striker a hero

ALL workers in Hongkong may have good reason to thank Mr Rod Eddington and his cronies on the Cathay Pacific Airways management team.

Their insensitive handling of the dispute succeeded in building widespread support behind the strikers and should result in a much-needed changes to labour legislation.

A last word for the strikers: you are heroes, every one of you. Never let anyone forget it.
