MANCHESTER United boss Alex Ferguson has dismissed the bookmakers bias towards his side, declaring: 'They [Newcastle] will be favourites for the league now and that's fair enough as far as I'm concerned. 'There is a lot of optimism in the Newcastle camp. But we can just sit back and get on quietly with out own job,' he added. 'All the hype and publicity surrounding the [Alan] Shearer move will add to the interest. You cannot avoid the publicity because of the magnitude of the transfer.' Ferguson, however, has made it know that he has an obsession with winning the Champions League after the disappointment of last season.
