More than 2,000 China Motor Bus staff have threatened industrial action unless pay demands are met within one month. CMB branch spokesman of the Motor Transport Workers' General Union, Chu Bun, said staff want an 8.3 per cent pay rise - one per cent more than offered. They also want their annual bonus of 25 days' salary increased to 30 days and claim implementation of the increases are more than eight weeks late. A company spokesman could not be reached for comment last night.
