The International Computer Music Conference closes with two shows which blend dance with the unique music.

On Saturday at 8pm in the City Hall Theatre, local choreographer Siri Rama has put together a dance version of the Ramayana, combining southern Indian dance with music by computer composers from Brazil, India and the United States.

She will be followed by the Guangdong Modern Dance Company, which has spent the past four years trying to push back the boundaries of dance and stay distinctively Chinese. This is certainly going to test that claim to its limits.
