I am writing to complain about the suspension of attractions operated by Ocean Park. The suspension of the Eagle game was announced at the Admiralty Shuttle Bus Terminus at 11.30am on August 4, however when we later arrived at the park, we found that two more attractions - Mine Train and Ocean Park Tower - were also not in operation. But we were extremely disappointed by the suspension, again without prior notice, of Film Fantasia: Dinosaurs, which is a new feature that has received a lot of publicity. At the front door of the Film Theatre was a notice stating 'Closed for maintenance'. When we tried to ask Ocean Park staff about the closure, we were given no additional information. Although there are many other facilities in the park, my overseas friends and I have enjoyed them already in past years. Finally we left the park and returned to Admiralty bus terminus at 4pm, where I found that the advertised suspensions only included the Eagle, Dragon and Ocean Park Tower attractions. The closure of the Film Fantasia was a source of extremeannoyance because the dinosaur feature would have been the highlight of our day. I wonder why the park management chose not to announce that this particular attraction had been closed - either at the Shuttle Bus Terminus or at the main entrance. Frankly, I would have changed my visit to Ocean Park to another day if I had been informed earlier. CECILIA MA New Territories
