A nightclub customer who may have been one of the last people to see 23-year-old Club Paris hostess Tam Ngan-hang alive is being sought. Tam's naked body - stuffed into a weighted nylon bag - was washed up at Sap Long Kau Tsuen, on Chi Ma Wan Peninsula, Lantau, on Thursday. Tam, identified by fingerprints, went missing on August 15 after leaving with a customer named Chan. She had been working at the Tsim Sha Tsui East club for only 10 days after a long spell of unemployment, said Superintendent Kevin Laurie. He said Mr Chan, aged around 28, was believed to have visited the club at least twice. He lived in Whampoa, was thin, weighing around 55 to 59 kilograms, and was about 1.7 metres tall. Mr Laurie said $30,000 was withdrawn from Tam's account in Whampoa and Tsz Wan Shan on three consecutive days, starting August 15. Police also want to talk to anyone who might recently have sold eight exercise weights, known as Kettler weights, and red nylon ropes used in the disposal of the body. Mr Laurie denied that Tam's family received ransom demands.
