Legislator Chim Pui-chung, accused of forgery and plotting to defraud, is to have his case heard with two of his business associates, it was decided yesterday.

Magistrate Alan Wright granted the Crown's application to consolidate cases against Chim, 50, his personal assistant Debbie Chui Li-yuk, 28, and business partner Nelson Chan Kai-fung, 29.
The trio were charged with conspiracy to forge financial documents in relation to the sales of shares in property company, Lucky Man, by two investment firms allegedly run by Chim.
Meanwhile, Chim and Chan face a further charge of conspiracy to defraud the Securities and Futures Commission and of conspiracy to forge documents.
No pleas were entered and Mr Wright set the return date for October 9.
